悬链线是两端固定绳子在重力场中的平衡位形.定义悬链线的宽度是两个端点的水平距离,高度是最低点到两端点连线的垂直距离.这两者是悬链线的几何特征.文章推导了悬挂重物悬链线宽度和高度所满足的参数方程,实验数据验证了这个关系式.
