基于BP神经网络的车牌字符识别的研究

摘　　要：基于车牌字符粗网格特征设计BP神经网络分类器,提取车牌字符的全部特征输入到神经网络,提高了字符识别的准确率.对输出进行了8421编码,隐含层节点数的确定采用了初定隐节点数的经验公式,大大减少了迭代次数,降低了网络规模并提高了车牌识别的速度.To advance the recognition rate of the character,choose the feature of rough grid for BP neural networks classifier and input all features of the character pixels into the BP neural networks.Coding the output by 8421 code and using the empirical formular for initally selecting the number of hidden nodes,it can notably reduce iterations and network scale commonly.so all of that improves the recognition speed.
