从经济原则探讨认知隐喻在大学英语词汇教学中的应用

摘　　要：目前大学英语词汇教学中存在着一些突出的问题,而认知隐喻机制有助于学生更经济地习得词汇,提高学习兴趣。依据范畴化的原型理论和认知隐喻理论,在英语教学中,应注重基本范畴词汇的教学以及多义词的核心义项的教学。The article probes into the existing problems in the vocabulary teaching of college English,and demonstrates that theory of cognitive metaphor helps students to learn English vocabularies more economically and effectively.Based on the theory of prototype and the theory of cognitive metaphor,teaching of basic level vocabulary and the core sense of polysemous words should be emphasized.
