摘　　要：进入二十一世纪 ,我国水利行业将进行两个战略方面的转变 ,高等职业教育水利类专业的发展机遇与挑战并存 ;对如何应对形势转变 ,提出我国高职水利类专业建设的发展目标与原则 ,阐述水利类专业的发展思路 。By entering the 21 st Century, China's water resources and water conservancy industry will undergo 'two strategic changes'. Higher vocational education in water conservancy will face unprecedented chances for development but also enormous challenges for accomplishment in the new era. The current paper outlines the general principle and the projected targets for the reform in the higher occupational education in water conservancy. It also constructively described the future advancements in the higher occupational education in water resources and water conservancy. Improvements for the basic structure in higher occupationaleducation in water conservancy were discussed.
