摘　　要：中西方文化中的比喻及其联想 ,有相似的情况 ,主要表现在喻体相同且喻义相似 ;也有不同之处 ,主要表现在喻体相同而喻义不同或喻体相异而喻义相同。这是由于不同的民族文化之间既存在共性又存在个性所致。The metaphor and its association in both the Chinese and Western cultures have the analogies as well as differences. The analogies are mainly reflected by the same metaphorical vehicles but with similar metaphorical meanings. The differences are mainly reflected by the same metaphorical vehicles but with different metaphorical meanings or the different metaphorical vehicles but with same metaphorical meanings. This is because both general character and individual character between different national cultures exist.
