摘　　要：翻译技巧研究与翻译标准命题的探索合在一起几乎描绘了中国传统译论的全幅图景。那么,如何评价我国传统译论对这一命题所进行的研究?为什么对翻译技巧和翻译标准的探讨几乎成了传统译论的全部关怀?文章试图对此进行分析,并在此基础上探讨了当前和今后译学研究应避免的失误和努力的方向。Research on translation techniques and on translation principles accounts for almost the sum total of traditional Chinese translation studies. This being the case, a few questions are in order. How are the achievements to date of traditional Chinese translation studies to be evaluated? Why have translation techniques and translation principles preoccupied the attention of translation scholars for so long? Based on the answers to these questions, the author points out the direction to which Chinese translation studies should develop in future and the pitfalls to be avoided.
