摘　　要：在这改革开放进一步深入的时代 ,外语及外语人才将变得越来越重要 ,而外语教师作为外语人才的培养者 ,将面临着巨大的挑战 ,急需在业务水平、现代语言知识的掌握、严谨治学。This paper holds the idea that foreign languages and talents in foreign languages will become more and more important in the times of further reform. Therefore, our foreign language teachers will be challenged in many fields,such as,the rising of vocational level, the mastering of modern linguistic knowledge, rigorous study and behaving as a model teacher,and etc.
