摘　　要：积极引介当代西方翻译研究领域的重要成果,包括最新的译学术语和概念,是促进我国翻译学学科发展的一项十分有意义的工作,而如何做好这项工作又是翻译理论和实践工作者所同时关心的问题。本文以笔者最近主持完成的对Dictionaryof Translation Studies一书的翻译实践为具体案例,围绕"准确、透明、一致、简洁、通达"的十字方针,展开对于外来译学词典翻译原则和方法的讨论。The author and his team have recently rendered into Chinese a popular English dictionary of translation studies. Turning this experience of theirs into a case study, the paper discusses the general conceptual and methodological principles applicable to translating specialized terms in translation theories, offering insights into how non-Chinese terminologies and concepts in this field could be helpfully treated so as to facilitate their adaptation to a new language-cultural environment.
