摘　　要：该文以开放英语本科专业学员为对象,运用定性研究的方法,通过问卷调查、访谈等形式,对开放教育模式下的成人英语学习策略进行描述性的分析研究,从而提出一些切实可行的英语学习策略训练方式,帮助开放英语本科专业学员成为成功的英语学习者。This study attempts to look at Chinese adult English learners for open education in terms of their strategies in learning English. The data are collected via questionnaires, observations, and interviews among fifty adult learners. The ultimate purpose of the study is, therefore, on the one hand to raise the consciousness of Chinese a-dult English learners of their strategies in learning English; on the other hand, to help their teachers to cope with their adult learners in creating a supportive environment for optimal conditions of learning to occur.
