摘　　要：在社交过程中,人们所使用的称谓得体与否直接影响着人们的交际活动能否顺利进行。称谓的得体性直接反映了一个民族的文化传统、礼貌准则、以及人际关系。汉语和英语语言文化的差异性影响着其各自社交称谓体系,影响着社交的成败,影响着社交称谓的得体性。Appropriate or inappropriate addressing often influences the smooth flow of communication. The appropriateness of addressing is the reflection of a national culture, polite maxims and interpersonal relations. The difference in culture influences its addressing systems, success of social activitties, and appropriateness of public addressing.
