摘　　要：杨贤江是一代中国知识分子精英的代表。他从学生时期起 ,就能严格自律 ,自发奋勉 ,是一个“志趣高远 ,品学皆优”的好青年。他在追求个性解放 ,追求自由民主理想、民族独立、国家富强的道路上 ,始终保持了高尚的节操。他在吸收、传播西方与苏联教育理论和探索教育现代化、本土化的过程中 ,做了创造性的工作。他既是后人研究的对象 ,更是值得人们学习的榜样。Yang Xianjiang is a brilliant Chinese scholar. He is strict, ambitious, honorable, and diligent youngster, in constant pursuit of democracy, freedom, and national prosperity. Engrossed he is in absorption and dissemination of the educational theories popular in the west and Russia, which he applies creatively to the educational modernization in China. Hence, he has set a good example for young generations.
