英汉颜色词的联想意义之比较

摘　　要：从词汇的联想意义角度,对英汉两种语言中的颜色词进行了比较。这些颜色词不同的联想意义映照了文化的差异,对它们的研究有利于跨文化交际及英汉互译。This paper makes a tentative comparison on the associative meaning of the color words in Eng-lish and Chinese,and it finds that these color words have different associative meaning in two lan-guages,which definitely reflects the cultural differences.The study of the issue is of great help to the inter-cultural communication and translation.
