摘  要:自由,既是人发展的前提,又是人发展的结果;既是人发展的目标,又是人发展的手段。自由教育思想的灵魂,是自由、理性与民主,这既符合人的本性和教育本质,又契合现代文明社会里人与社会可持续发展的本质要求。自由教育的本质在于生命的哲学关注,在于从尊重生命和培养人的创造性出发来培养"自由的人"。Freedom is the prerequisite for human development as well as the result of human development; it is the goal of human development as well as the means of human development. The soul of the idea of freedom education consists of freedom, rationality and democracy, which conforms to human nature and the essence of education, and agrees with the essential requirement of the sustainable development of human and the society in modern civilization. The essence of education lies in the philosophical concern in life, lies in cultivating the 'free human' on the basis of respect for life and cultivation of human creativity.
