摘　　要：鸦片战争后外国来华传教士花之安撰写的《德国学校论略》、丁韪良撰写的《西学考略》、李提摩太撰写的《七国新学备要》是晚清研究西方教育的几部代表作。它们不仅介绍了西方现代学校教育制度及其课程设置、教学内容及方法,而且开展了中外文化教育的比较考察,曾在19世纪后半叶中国知识阶层中广为传阅,对中国教育早期现代化产生了重要而深远的影响。An Introduction to Schools in Germany,A Brief Introduction of Western Education,and A Brief Account of the Education in Seven Countries are representative works written by Western missionaries important for the studies of Western education available in the late Qing Dynasty.They not only introduced the contemporary Western school education system,their curriculum,contents of textbooks and methods of teaching,but also provided investigation reports of comparative studies of culture and education.These books were widely read by Chinese intellectuals offering important and far-reaching influence on China's modernization of education.
