摘　　要：英语教学的最终目的是为了提高学习效率,掌握语言技能。但由于种种原因,现行大学英语教学中存在方方面面不容忽视的问题。找出现行大学英语教学中所存在的问题,探索科学有效的解决办法和途径,并努力实现英语教学质的突破,切实提高大学生的英语实际应用能力,以满足经济、社会发展和人的全面发展的需要,是现行大学英语教学的当务之急。The goal of English teaching is to improve the students'efficiency of study and ultimately to make them master the language. However, this goal can not be achieved with the existing problems in English teaching of colleges and universities; therefore, in order to improve the students' practical English proficiency, it is absolutely necessary to probe into the problems and find out their countermeasures.
