摘　　要：从认知的角度探讨词汇习得中词汇知识理解的三个阶段。通过分析词的类别及词汇知识的特点,探讨理解词汇知识的三个阶段对词汇学习的重要性,并且提出了几种有效的英语词汇教学策略。<Abstrcat>This paper explores three phases of understanding lexical knowledge from a cognitive point of view in vocabulary learning. Through the analysis of the types of word and the nature of vocabulary knowledge, it discusses the importance of three phases of understanding lexical knowledge to vocabulary learning. Some effective strategies are, thereby, proposed towards vocabulary teaching and learning.
