摘　　要：功能语法关于主位结构的理论注意篇章的整体信息,考虑篇章的整体结构。通过分析主位推进模式与语篇体裁之间的关系,探讨主位推进模式在语篇建构中的应用及其对外语写作教学的启示。The Theme-Rheme theory lays emphasis on the general information and structure of a discourse. This paper explores the application of thematic progression to discourse production through the analysis of the relationship between thematic progression and the genre as well as its implication for the English teaching in writing.
