现代学习理论对大学英语教学的思考

摘　　要：现代学习理论来自哲学、语言学、心理学、教育学等学科的先进理念,为大学英语教学改革提供了动力和依据。文章简要分析了现代学习理论,其研究的意义是将大学英语教学模式改革放到一个突出位置,学习并研究现代学习理论,同时开展基于现代学习理论的大学英语教学实践,对推进大学英语教学的有效改革会产生深远的影响和积极的促进作用,是提高大学英语教育质量的有效途径。Modem learning theories come from the new thinking of philosophy, linguistics, psychology and pedagogy , which provide motive and basis for changes in College English teaching and learning. This article briefly introduces the new developments of cognitive theory, information - processing theory and dual code theory of memory. This article points out that new thinking on College English teaching in modem learning theories has brought about cognitive learning approach to College English.
