摘　　要：2004年9月,教育部在全国180所高等院校试点实施大学英语教学改革,至今已经取得了不小的成绩,但也存在一定的问题。对此进行探索,有利于这一新教学模式的改进与完善。Since September 2004, the Ministry of Education of China has been carrying out College English teaching reform, and has achieved satisfactory results. But some problems still exist, hindering the smooth progress of the reform, The present article first describes the background of the College English teaching reform, followed by and introduction of a new teaching model, and the analysis of the existing problems. The paper ends with some measures for the improvement of the new model.
