摘　　要：认知心理学范畴的图式理论能清楚、准确地阐释阅读实践的心理活动过程。该理论在阅读教学中的利用使得阅读理论在经历了单纯的“自下而上”和“自上而下”模式后进入了全新的“交互式”模式时期。图式阅读理论中,阅读能力由语言图式、内容图式和形式图式决定,英语阅读教学的实质是帮助学生建立、丰富并适时激活各种图式。语言图式是阅读理解顺利进行的首要条件,也是内容图式和形式图式的基础;但英语阅读教学应关注三种图式相互促进,全面发展。Schema theory,a tenh in cognitive psychology,explains the psychological activity procedure of reading practice with clearness and accuracy.The application of schema theory in reading education endues reading theory with a new mode-interactive mode,combined with“bottom-up”and“top-down”modes.Reading ability is determined by linguistic schema,content schema and contestual schema,among which the former is the base of the other two.The teaching of English reading is to enable students to build,enrich and activate schemas ,and reinforce the mutual promotion and development of all schemas.
