摘　　要：校训是学校办学理念、文化传统、人才培养要求的集中体现,许多大学都注重总结提炼富有个性、具有鲜明教育理念的校训,以充分发挥校训在立校兴学方面的作用。本文试图通过对比分析部分有代表性的中外大学之校训在来源与内容、表征形式与功能发挥等方面的异同,以求更全面地理解大学校训与大学精神。The University precepts are the central reflection of the university running policies,cultural traditions and talent training. Most universities attach great importance to summarizing a special and vivid precept, and also make full use of it in terms of school running. By comparing and analyzing the similarities and differences of origin and content , form and functions of different university precept, and tends to understand the precepts and spirit of the university in every aspects.
