摘　　要：阐述了英语阅读能力不仅是英语学习的一个目标,也是英语学习的重要途径,甚至是根本途径。指出提高学生英语阅读的兴趣,明确英语阅读的目的,是高职英语教学改革所要解决的主要问题。The summary after class is the imp ortant link in the teaching activity. However it is often neglected, which causes the incomplete teaching course, so it affects the improvement of teaching quality. The summary after class can play the function of optimizing teaching plan and improving teaching quality. It forms an organic unity with preparing, teaching and checking. They are penetrated, interacted and improved with each other, which improves teaching quality and teachers＇ quality.
