摘　　要：日本是世界上当之无愧的教育强国,其成功经验可归结为:举国重视教育、健全教育法制、官民并举投资教育、着重发展义务教育、重视师资培养等。21世纪,教育成为战略发展目标,日本的成功经验和深刻教训值得中国借鉴和学习。Japan is the acknowledged educational power in the world. Its success can be found and concluded as follows： emphasis on education of the whole nation, amplifi both government and citizens, development of compulsory education, cation of education law, investment from emphasis on the cultivation of teachers, etc. As an Asian country with similar cultural background, China can learn the experiences and lessons from the Japan＇s education in order to realize the strategic goal of educational development in the 21 st century in China.
