摘　　要：法语借词约占英语词汇的30%。掌握法语借词是解决英语词汇记忆问题的一大突破口。在众多的法语借词中,大部分已经被英语同化了,但仍有相当一部分法语借词保留着法语的特点。French loan words make up about 30% of the English vocabulary. Mastery of these borrowed words is a key to memorizing English words. Of the vast number of those borrowed from the French language, most have been assimilated while still quite a lot remain French characteristics.
