摘　　要：翻译就是翻译意义。意义包括语义意义和语用意义。在翻译实践中，为了真实地传递出原文作者的意图，当语义意义对等和语用意义对等无法同时实现时，译者在翻译过程中应注意传达出原文的语用意义，最大可能地保证跨文化交际的成功。Translation means translating meaning. Meaning includes semantic meaning and pragmatic meaning. In translating process, translators should convey not only meaning but also the author＇s intention and they should give priority to pragmatic meaning when semantic meaning equivalence and pragmatic meaning equivalence cannot be achieved simultaneously so as to achieve successful cross-culture communication.
