论英汉习语的文化差异及翻译

摘　　要：由于习俗、宗教、地域、历史文化等方面的差异,英汉习语承载着不同的民族文化特色和文化信息,他们与文化传统紧密相连,不可分割.本文分析了英汉习语中所体现的英汉文化差异,提出在英汉习语中首先要保证原文隐含意义的准确表达,提出了具体的翻译方法.Because of the differences in life custom, religion and belief, geography, history in English and Chinese have different national culture information. They are closely connected with culture and unseperated from it. This article analysis English culture difference in idioms, suggests that expression of implied meaning in the original article must be ensured and proposes concrete methods. Practice proves that literal translation and free translation are relative, a good translation contains beth literal translation, that is a combination of literal translation and free translation.
