从《西游记》中“缘”的翻译现象看文本误读和文化迁移

摘　　要：当代译学研究之一大特点为"文化转向"——既关注文字翻译本身,更注重其背后蕴涵的跨文化传通。《西游记》中"缘"这一概念在梵汉、汉英之间的移译就导致了文化的流变及文化的迁移现象。The present Translation Studies, with the ＂Cultural Turn＂ as one of its features, focuses not only on verbal translation itself, but more importantly on the cross-cuhural communication therein involved. The translation of the concept of ＂yuan＂ as used in Journey to the West from Sanskrit to Chinese and then from Chinese to English causes cultural evolutions and acculturation.
