摘　　要：在二语习得中,学习者的母语会不可避免地参与其中,因此,中国学生在学习英语的过程中经常会不自觉地求助于汉语,尤其是在进行英语写作的时候。本文主要从词汇和句法两方面探讨了英语写作中的汉语负迁移现象,通过学生习作中常见的一些错误,分析了负迁移产生的原因及其特征,帮助学生了解这一现象,以便在英文写作中有意识地避免汉语负迁移的发生。In second language acquisition, the learner＇s native language will inevitably get involved. Consequently,Chinese EFL learners often turn to their mother tongue for help when writing academic English compositions and essays. This paper focuses on the negative transfer of Chinese to English writing at the lexical and syntactical levels and explores the features of such transfer by analyzing some typical errors found in college students＇ assignments. The contrastive analysis can help students realize when and how negative transfer of their native language may arise so that they can make efforts to reduce such transfer when they write in English.
