摘 要:罗素作为现代著名的哲学家和数学家,其教育思想也有着与众不同的意蕴和特点。罗素认为大学应该培养学生的专业能力,并重以学术研究。大学教师应该具有从事科研活动的能力和品质,不仅要懂得如何去教,更要明白怎样提升自我修养。同时,他还指出大学的学术自由应该体现权力与责任的统一,并以此体现教育的民主与公平。虽然罗素的大学教育思想还稍显零乱,但对于一个站在哲学高点的大师来说,也属于不易了。As a famous philosopher and mathematician in the world, Bertrand Russell's thoughts on education have their particularities. He claims that universities should develop the student's professional ability, and lay equal stress on academics. University teachers should have able to do academic research. They not only know how to teach, but also how to enhance their own expertise. Meanwhile, he points out that academic freedom of university should show unity of power and responsibility. His thoughts on university education may he unsystematic, yet as a great master in philosophy, these thoughts are remarkable already.
