从文化意象析“枕头风”的翻译

摘　　要：汉语惯用语"枕头风"带有浓厚的文化色彩,不仅仅指"妻子或情妇在枕上怂恿丈夫的话",社会的发展还赋予了"枕头风"新的含义。这一惯用语与英语惯用语"pillow talk"既有语义的重合又有区别,不完全对等,因此,"枕头风"的翻译在具体语境中应采用创新和变通的策略。Chinese phrase ＂Zhen Tou Feng＂ is a culturally - loaded expression, originally means ＂wife＇ s advice to her husband or lover when they are in bed＂, but it has adopted different meanings with the social development. This phrase is not completely equiva- lent to the English phrase ＂pillow talk＂ though they have similar meanings. This paper points out several translations of ＂Zhen Tou Feng＂ which are rendered flexibly according to its context.
