摘　　要：现代远程教育是伴随着网络技术和多媒体技术的飞速发展而产生的学校新型教育形态。通过对现代远程教育发展中教学困惑的反思,提出了对现代远程教育教学本质的认识,进而对现代远程教育教学的重建提出了基本思路。Modern long distance education is a new type of education form which has come into being due to the rapid development of network technology and multi-media technology.Problems in modern distance education,in essence,are educational,teaching instead of technological.Reflection of modern long distance education and teaching is a prerequisite for its virtuous development while its reconstruction is the basis for its development.After reflecting the teaching puzzles in its development ,this paper advances its understanding of the essence of modem long distance education and suggests some basic ideas of how to reconstruct modern long distance education and teaching.
