摘　　要：图式理论为大学英语阅读教学和研究提供了科学的理论基础和实践指导.教师在教学中应注意调动和激活学生已有图式,适时地为他们构建新的图式,并注意培养学生运用形式图式去理解文章的能力.Schema theory provides the theoretical basis and practical guidance for college English reading teaching and research. In the process of teaching, a teacher should try his best to activate his students＇ existing schematic knowledge, create new schematic knowledge for them and foster the students＇ comprehension of the reading materials by means of applying formal schemata.
