摘　　要：本文以现代隐喻理论为基础,提出一种以培养隐喻意识为中心的高级英语教学模式。通过分析隐喻意识与理解鉴赏能力、翻译能力和英语写作能力之间的关系,本文证明了现代隐喻理论对高级英语教学的指导作用。The paper bases on the modem theory of metaphor and gives out a new teaching mode of advanced English which is organized around euhivating the sense of metaphor. By analyzing the relationship between the sense of metaphor and the ability of reading comprehension, translation and English writing, the paper proves the modem theory of metaphor can really help advanced English teaching.
