摘 要:传统的课堂教学中教师往往被看作是知识的传授者、课堂的掌控者或指导者。教师在课堂教学过程中所扮演的角色实则多种多样,作为语言教师尤其如此。本文主要探讨了互动式英语课堂教学环境中教师的角色问题。互动式英语教学特征——更强调学生的主动性以及语言的交际功能——使得语言教师成为课堂学习的促进者和参与者、课堂活动的组织者、引导者和推动者。此外,语言教师还应适度地掌控以确保课堂教学的顺利进行。互动式课堂英语教学活动中学生对语言教师角色的态度和想法也在探讨之列。A teacher has many roles to play in the process of teaching. Language teacher can not simply be described as the one who is responsible for passing knowledge to students. One traditional view is to take teachers as 'master' controllers or instructors. This article reports on the major roles of language teachers in interactive teaching classrooms. It was found that features of interactive teaching require language teachers to play new roles in the course of teaching: prompters and participants, organizers, directors, instructors, and facilitators. Besides, in order to ensure that the interactive teaching develops smoothly, certain degree of control is quite necessary. The study also suggested students' thoughts and attitudes about teachers' roles in carrying out interactive activities.
