摘　　要：闻一多先生在谈论诗词格律时曾表达过这样的意思:越是有魄力的作家,越是要戴着脚镣才能跳得痛快。只有不会跳舞的人才怪脚镣碍事。翻译工作就好比带着脚镣的舞蹈,翻译是一门科学,是一种认知活动、一种技巧、一门艺术,是一种专业的交流工具。随着人类文明的发展,翻译在促进不同语言国度的人们之间相互了解和文化交流中扮演着非常重要的角色。但是在大学这个舞台上怎样培养大学生的翻译基本能力,跳好这带着脚镣的舞蹈,这是摆在我们面前的一个令人思考、令人探索的课题。Mr. Wen Yiduo, while talking about the poetical meter, expresses： the greater resolution a writer has, the better he can dance delightedly with fetters around the feet. Those who can not dance will blame the fetters when dancing. Translation can be compared to dancing with fetters around the feet. It is a science, a kind of cognitive activity, skill, art and specialized communicative media. In the development of human civilization, translation plays an important role in improving mutual understanding and euhuml exchanges among people and countries of different language. Therefore, how to forward the construction of translation studies as a discipline, how to train college students＇ basic translation capacity, and how to enable them to dance well with fetters around the feet on the university stage is a very important subject which is worth our thinking and exploring.
