摘 要:诗歌翻译是文学翻译领域的一座宝库。唐诗作为中国古典诗歌的最高成就,它的翻译显得尤为重要。符际翻译是利用非语言符号系统解释语言符号的一种翻译方法。唐诗的以景抒情、借景言志的特征使宜于描写静物的画成为诗歌翻译的辅助手段。文章从符际翻译视角出发,论证了画这种图形符号作为一种非语言符号,可以成为一种阐释诗歌的翻译手段。它不仅为译者拓展了思维,而且绕过了语言和文化的藩篱,挣脱了原语言对翻译的种种束缚,给译者提供了一个新的翻译空间。Poetry translation has been regarded as a treasure - house of literary translation. Tang poetry,as the supreme achievement of classical Chinese poetry, demands particular attention. Intersemiotic translation is an interpretation of verbal signs by means of signs of non - verbal sign system. The author, from the perspective of Intersemiotic Translation, proposes that "picture" , as a non -verbal sign, can interpret the poem. Tang poetry is characterized by "picturization" , which means the poets express their emotions and ideals by describing a picture that is always used in representing the still life, and which postulates a new perspective for translator, using "a picture" as the assistant translation method to interpret the original poem and to help the translator and readers get rid of the misunderstandings aroused by culture and influence of original language and to represent the picture that the poets described in their poems.
