摘　　要：中西文化在文化背景、意识心理与宗教信仰、价值观、自然环境等方面的差异的处理需要相应的翻译策略,面对文化的差异性给语言翻译带来的种种障碍,任何翻译手段的运用都应避免主观随意性,要考虑到中西文化的差异,力求再现原文和译文的美感。This paper discusses differences between Chinese and Western cultures on cultural background ,consciousness psychology, religious belief, values, natural environment and their relevant translation approaches. Since the cultural differences bring various barriers to language translation, all kinds of translation approaches should be used carefully. We should avoid subjectivity and take the cultural differences into consideration in order to translate accurately.
