摘 要:对于SFL学生来说,词汇的大量积累和语言能力的提高通常是一个不成比例的问题。应试或者其它目的有意识地增加词汇量,结果二语语言能力还是得不到应有的发展。"心理词典"或"心理词汇"的概念为理解发展母语背景中的二语语言能力和解决外语学习困境提出了有益的思考。母语和二语心理词汇建构机制的区别和联系是两种语言能力发展中的障碍和条件。只有克服母语心理词汇的干扰和控制,让二语心理词汇的构建处在一个相对洁净的环境中,二语语言能力才能得到有效发展。As to SFL students, having an adequate amount of vocabulary and developing language competence isn' t proportionate. We usually take the mechanical method of reciting vocabulary as a laborious task, which is considered as a convenient knack once for all in preparing for exams. In doing so, we are expected to acquire less competence in using language. However, through analyzing the mechanism of mental lexicon construction proposed by Garman, we can understand the embarrassment in the course of constructing second language mental lexicon against the background of native language. The different mechanisms of mental lexicon between native and second language would become the prerequisite and hindrance. Thus the second language competence would effectively be developed on the condition that the mental lexicon of the second language could be developed in a comparatively respective environment, in which the interference and control of preexistent mental lexicon of native language is overcome.
