摘　　要：释道安,佛图澄弟子,东晋时杰出的佛教领袖,般若学六家七宗中"本无宗"的创始人。他在创建僧团并制《僧尼轨范》、组织翻译和亲译佛经、编篡佛教《众经目录》诸方面也作出划时代贡献。因此,他不仅是中国佛教史上杰出的学者,而且被鸠摩罗什誉为"东方圣人"。SHI Dao - an, as FO Tu - cheng＇s disciple and an outstanding Buddhist leader in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, is a founder of ＂ Dao - an＇s Sect＂ which is one of Mahayana＇s Six Schools and Seven Sects. He made an epoch - making contribution in creation of the sangha, compilation of Seng Ni Gui Fan, projecting and joining in the translation of the Buddhist Scriptures and editing Scripture Catalogue. Therefore, he is praised not only as an eminent scholar in history of Chinese Buddhism but also an ＂Oriental Saint＂ by Kumarajiva.
