摘  要:巴黎释意学派口译理论是迄今为止国际口译界最具影响力的理论体系。本文经梳理文献发现,界内针对该理论所做的研究呈现若干特点和趋势,如:充分肯定其历史地位,同时质疑和批评增多甚至形成论战;所涉问题主要围绕由其派生的口译教学法和口译认知心理研究,近年来开始扩展到与其相关的其他一些方面;现有研究以思辨性分析居多,但采用更为精确的实验法对释意理论进行验证已渐成趋势。这些变化为口译理论研究的深入带来了新的启示,因而意义深远。The Interpretive Theory of Translation (IT) proposed by Danica Seleskovitch and her disciples is considered to be the most influential theory ever in the international interpreting studies community. A critical review of the discussions about this theory shows that, while acknowledging its significant role in interpreting studies, many researchers interested in IT have begun to criticize it since the 1980's and many more are getting involved in disputes and even debates over this theory, mainly around its derivative pedagogy in conference interpreter training and its description of the cognitive process of interpreting. Over the past few years, however, researchers have begun to extend their studies into other aspects of this theory. Another change is that experimental researches featuring quantitative analysis is on the rise although most relevant researches up to now are still of speculative nature. These new trends are of significance as they broaden the vision of relevant studies and at the same time lead to an in-depth development of the discipline.
