摘　　要：习语是人类智慧的结晶,是语言中的精华。本文从文化语境的角度对英汉比喻性习语中喻体和喻义的文化异同进行比较分析,并在此基础上探讨其翻译的方法和技巧。This paper analyses the cultural similarities and differences between English and Chinese vehicles in their idioms from the perspective of cultural context and brings up three ways of translating the idiomatic phrases.
