摘　　要：本文围绕高等学校英语应用能力考试来讨论,分析了试卷内容、试卷结构、考试结果以及学生对学习英语的态度,通过分析说明高等学校英语应用能力考试对教师的实践教学和学生学习英语有怎样的影响并提出相关的英语教学建议。The article is talked about Practical English Test for Colleges（）and analyzes the contents,the structures and results of Practical English Test for Colleges（Pretco） and the students＇ attitudes towards learning English.Through a brief analysis of English examination paper,the paper shows that the index how to act on practical teaching,for the purpose of bringing forward some suggestion to English teaching.
