摘  要:英语写作一直是我国大学英语教学培养的核心技能之一,当前英语考核体制中均有对学生英语写作能力的考查,但该项技能的考核得分率普遍偏低。作文中出现"内容不切题、逻辑性差、写作思路混乱"等现象,这一现状使得改革传统英语写作教学方法成为当务之急。BIG6是一种培养学生解决信息问题能力的模式,其解决问题的步骤与英语写作存在逻辑上的一致性。以2010年1月英语考研作文为例,探究BIG6与英语写作结合的途径。The English writing of college students is one of the key skills that our nation has been aimed to cultivate. In the current system of assessment, English writing always appear in the college English papers. However, college students always get low marks in this item . In their compositions, such comment is often made by teachers, such as "the content diverts from the central idea as required; there is no logic in the writing; or the writing clue is confusing, and many other problems." Therefore, the above phenomena mentioned make it quite urgent to reform the traditional method of teaching College English writing. BIG6 is a mode of cultivating students' ability to solve informational problems, whose steps coincide with English writing in logic.This paper will cite the writing item in "the Admission Entrance Examination to the Master Degree of January 2010" as an instance, studying the methods of such an application.The exploration in this paper is a positive try in this information age.
