摘　　要：2010年,印度共和国走过了成立60周年的路程。60年前,印度教育发展的基础在广大发展中国家中是较好的;60年来,印度制定了一系列教育政策并取得了突出的成就。然而,印度政府提出的许多教育发展目标总是不能按期实现。展望下一个60年,印度教育的发展仍然任重道远。The Republic of India has celebrated its 60th anniversary. 60 years ago, the conditions of educational development in India were comparatively advantageous among developing countries;and in the last 60 years, due to a series of national policies, educational achievements in India were outstanding. However, many educational goals raised by Indian Government failed to be accomplished in time again and again. Looking forward to the next 60 years, educational development in India would shoulder heavy responsibilities.
