摘　　要：当前,国内大学生英语应用能力的现状不容乐观,需要通过新的有效模式提升大学生英语应用能力。英语第二课堂活动设计是培养大学生英语应用能力的新模式。主要探讨了英语第二课堂活动设计的原则及实现途径。At present, the college students＇ english applied abilities is not optimistic, the new effective mode is asked to promote students＇ english applied abilities. The design of second class activities is one of these new effective patterns. The principles and realizing approaches of the second class activities design are mainly discussed.
