摘　　要：语言和文化关系密不可分,大学英语的教学不仅是语言的教学,也是文化的教学。作者分析了大学英语课堂文化教学的必要性,并提出了相应的方式方法,从而开阔大学生的眼界,丰富他们的思想,并提高他们的跨文化交际能力。Language and culture are closely related,so college English teaching involves both language teaching and cultural teaching.This paper analyzes the necessities of cultural teaching in the class of college English and proposes some relative methods,thus broadening the students＇ horizon and improving their ability of intercultural communication.
