摘　　要：本文从目前专业英语(ESP)课程设置、师资队伍以及教材编写等方面,探讨我国建筑类院校专业英语教学的现状.其目的是查找当前教学存在的问题、找出解决的办法,提高教学质量使之更好地培养合格的人才.This paper surveys the present situation of ESP course in the colleges of architature and civil engineering,such as curriculum,teachers and textbooks as well.The main purpose is not only to find out the problems exisiting in the ESP but also to work out the solutions so that we can make improvement on the English teaching.
