摘　　要：分析高职院校学生英语学习面临的问题及其形成的原因。探讨在英语课堂中激发学生学习兴趣和动力的举措:分英语等级教学;创设轻松和谐的课堂氛围;注重课程导入方式多元化;鼓励学生,关注学生情感;改革传统的考核方式和完善师资力量并提高教师素质等。This paper analyses the problems existing in college English learning and the causes of these problems.It introduces methods of stimulating students＇ motivation and interest in learning English at college： carrying out English teaching according to different grades,cultivating a relaxed and harmonious class atmosphere,lead-in class in different ways,encouraging the students,paying attention to the students＇ emotion,reforming the traditional test methods,improving the teaching staff and improving the teachers＇ quality.
