摘 要:英语自我概念和英语课堂焦虑是影响二语习得过程的两个重要因素,通过对非英语专业学习者的英语自我概念与英语课堂焦虑之间的关系进行深入研究,结果显示整体英语、听力、口语、写作、语法、词汇及阅读自我概念均与英语课堂焦虑具有不同程度的负相关。研究的结果还说明语言教师在教学活动中帮学生树立积极的英语自我概念有助于学生降低语言焦虑。As two important affective factors of learners,English self-concept and English classroom anxiety play a significant part in learners' second language acquisition.This study,based on the findings of previous researches,explores the relationships between English self-concept and English classroom anxiety of non-English majors.The results suggest that the English global self-concept and the 6 domain-specific English self-concepts are negatively correlated with the English classroom anxiety at varying levels.Therefore,it is advisable for English teachers to reduce learners' English anxiety to a moderate level via cultivating their positive English self-concept.
