摘　　要：从文体学的角度,分析了国外校训在语音层面,词汇层面,句法层面和语义层面上的特点,以便能更好地理解这些校训所传承的文化内涵和人文精神,给中国大学校训以借鉴。From the perspective of stylistics, this paper analyzes the mottoes of some foreign universities on the level of phonology, lexis, syntax and semantics in order to have a better understanding of the cultural connotation and humanism the mottoes carried, and their reference for universities in China.
